First of all, the term "Theranostics" should be better written with a "g" as "Theragnostics", as being justified by a paper ( Frangos S and Buscombe JR: Why should we be concerned about a ‘g’? Eur J Nucl Med Mol Imaging 46: 519, 2019).
Secondly, fluorescence imaging is often unreliable, because the intense of the fluorescence is influenced by multiple factors, and unnecessarily proportional to the amount of the fluorescent substance. By contrast, radionuclide-labeled tracers are more quantifiable and reliable for enhanced theragnostics.

Yes, I use computational methods for determining dose distributions and DNA damage yields when Auger and alpha emitters are used to irradiate biological tissues. This methodology serves as a first stage for evaluating isotopes with potential for being used in targeted radionuclide therapy (theranostics).

FET has several advantages over traditional diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. It enables real-time imaging of disease progression and treatment response, which allows for personalized treatment plans. FET also allows for the precise targeting of therapeutic agents to diseased tissues, reducing off-target effects and minimizing side effects. In addition, FET can be used to monitor the delivery and distribution of therapeutic agents within the body.
